Most of the pages of this site were withdrawn for re-writing etc (May 2008). Re-writing is slow and help and guidance - and ideas - are still needed! (June 2010).

The main reason for the re-writing is that the site appeared too personal as representing a very few people’s preferences and prejudices.

Hence all contributions will be warmly welcomed, though they must be within the overall objectives of the site.
